I am a provisional member registered with the New Zealand Association of Counsellors and a fully certified mindfulness coach currently training in the Conversational Model of Adult Psychotherapy with ANZAP.
I have worked as a Helplines Counsellor for several years and completed my counselling internship at a specialist addictions treatment facility. During this time, I received extensive training and clinical supervision, which developed a capacity to work with clients from diverse backgrounds and with a variety of presenting issues.
I am particularly interested in working through childhood experiences and early attachment difficulties. I support clients struggling with depression, anxiety, emotional regulation, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, problems related to migration, parenting challenges, as well as transitional stages of life such as perimenopause. I strongly believe in strength-based counselling and working collaboratively with clients to help them make empowered decisions about their lives and achieve optimal well-being.
Sessions are available in person, online, and over the phone in English and Russian. I also have limited availability after hours. Face-to-face sessions are held in the Titirangi/Glen Eden area of West Auckland, New Zealand.
